In the very early hours of Saturday, August 7th the film crew for the promo film for the Chattanooga State Professional Training Program took over the auditorium at the Chattanooga School for the Arts and Sciences. Our crew consisted of the same seven original crew members we had back in May. There is an ease and familiarity to a good crew that makes the production process more efficient and yet, fun at the same time when everyone knows theie job and is there to work.

February 17, 20101.) Concerts / plays: Many of the colleges in the area have special student rates for afternoon performances, and some are even FREE! ( such as dress and “tech” rehearsals — if you don’t mind seeing a little of what goes on “behind the curtain!” )
2.) Go to a Movie: “Second-run” theaters ( such as the Hamilton Place 10-17 ) have special nights which offer an additional discount off of their already low prices. The new Majestic downtown also has an “Economic Stimulus” night.
3.) Art galleries: The Hunter Museum of Art offers a student admission which if good for the whole year. There are also now several private galleries which are free — just be sure to check when they are open, as many have limited hours.
4.) National Parks: Chattanooga is blessed to have four parks dedicated to the American Civil War in the immediate area. In addition to Point Park on Lookout Mountain and Chickamauga National Battlefield in Fort Oglethorpe, there is the Missionary Ridge Battlefield Park and Orchard Knob Battlefield in downtown.
5.) Go for a Walk: There are many exercise paths and nature walks in and around our various waterways. Viewing nature not only helps you get in shape, but gives you a great opportunity to get to know someone.
